You Can Spend a Night in a Dreamy Bedroom From Emerald Fennell’s ‘Wuthering Heights’
Airbnb is offering three couples a chance to spend the night in a recreation of the film's Thrushcross Grange set.
Wuthering Heights fever is running high. Filmmaker Emerald Fennell’s hotly anticipated reimagining of the classic Emily Brontë novel drops ahead of Valentine’s Day—promising forbidden passion, bold costumes, and elegant sets bringing to life the book’s grand estate Thrushcross Grange. Want to be fully immersed? A faithful recreation of the movie’s key bedroom is now available for exclusive stays.
Airbnb, in collaboration with Warner Bros., is offering overnight experiences in a room styled after the film’s set. It’s located in West Yorkshire, the heart of Brontë country, where much of the production took place. According to the rentals platform, anticipation for the forthcoming film has been such that global searches for West Yorkshire have spiked 24 percent compared to last year.

Fennell’s adaptation unfolds the intense connection between the free-spirited Cathy Earnshaw (played by Margot Robbie) and brooding outsider Heathcliff (Jacob Elordi), their turbulent bond mirrored by the untamed moors beyond Wuthering Heights, home of the Earnshaws. The nearby Thrushcross Grange, the seat of the Linton family who Cathy marries into, stands as a stately counterpoint, a symbol of civility and social power.
It’s at Thrushcross Grange that Cathy encounters gentility and creature comforts. The film’s production design, headed by Suzie Davies, likewise echoes her experience of the environment. “It’s technicolor… it’s like she’s never seen this before,” Davies told Architectural Digest. “All the design and the vision of it had to be felt before it was understood.”

Cathy’s all-pink bedroom at the manor has been recreated right down to the last saturated detail. The space, its walls threaded with vein-like patterns, holds a double bed shadowed by an elaborate canopy, a rococo fireplace, and other furnishings like ornate mirrors and delicate lamps. In its Airbnb listing, our host “Cathy” writes of the chamber: “The supple walls are the exact shade of my skin; the room is for dressing, dreaming.”

Occupants will get more out of their stays, though. There’s also a recreated dining hall, where they will get to dine on Yorkshire delicacies using the finest silver worthy of Thrushcross Grange. Horseback riding, afternoon tea, and an intimate listening party of the film’s soundtrack by Charli xcx are on the itinerary, too.
Not least, there’s a visit to the Brontë Parsonage Museum, home to the largest collection of objects related to the famed literary family. The venue is also hosting a screening of the film on February 13.
