The Physical Plant department of Rutgers University-Newark Campus is
accepting resumes for the position of Fire Suppression Systems
Inspector full time.

In accordance with University and N.J. Division of Fire Safety
Standards, conducts tests on all fire pumps, fire sprinkler and
standpipe systems throughout all University buildings and structures.
Must have in depth knowledge and must comply during testing with
National Fire Prevention Association standards NFPA 25 and 20.

Must have NICET I/II certification and a minimum 4 years of working
experience in the field of fire suppression. Needs the ability to
interpret and communicate New Jersey’ Fire Safety Statues and
regulations.
