and insured automatic fire sprinkler contractor.  They are qualified
to design, fabricate, install, inspect, and service systems; including
the certification and inspection of back flow devices.  They offer the
most advanced fire protection systems including wet, dry, pre-action,
deluge, foam, fire pumps and tanks.  They cover the map literally;
with licenses in fourteen states dedicated to fulfilling contractors,
owners, and developers of commercial, industrial, residential and
institutional structures needs.

Duties for the Project Manager include: selling and management of
products and services for the manufacturing and installation of fire
protection sprinkler systems to businesses and commercial/industrial
establishments.  Interested applicants should have a minimum of 3 to 5
years experience; NICET Certification and Hydracad background is
preferred.  Benefits include: health/dental plan, life insurance,
short and long term disability insurance, vacation/holidays and
401K/profit sharing.  Some relocation expenses would be considered.

Job Title: Field Service Technician - Fire
Department: Service
Exempt/Non-Exempt: Non-Exempt						

Job Summary:
Provides technical support for end users of Fire Suppression Systems.

Primary Responsibilities:
1. Performs routine technical inspections and diagnoses system
   problems.  Coordinates with the customer and/or engineering
   department to help resolve problems as quickly and as cost
   effectively as possible.
2. Preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of fire
   suppression systems (such as Halon, CO2, Inergen, FM-200, etc.),
   fire alarm systems, early warning air sampling systems (such as
   Vesda and IFD), water leak detection systems (such as Permalert,
   Liebert and Trace Tek), hydrogen gas detection systems, and wet/dry
   pre-action sprinkler systems, foam systems and dialer communication
   systems.
3. Deliver and pickup fire suppression tanks, rebuild and recharge
   FM-200 and Halon 1301 tanks at the office or remotely.
4. Relocate devices and tanks due to remodel and construction jobs.
5. Program and modify programs on Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression
   Control Panels.
6. Perform final testing with Fire Department to final a job
7. Assist with new installs, pre-testing and functional testing of new
   Fire Alarm and Fire Suppression systems.
8. Provide Leads for service or new construction whenever possible.
9. Assist with As-Built updates whenever possible
10. Cover a 24-hour 7 day on call week that is rotated among all
    service technicians.
11. Maintain a professional attitude and relationship with customers.
12. Fill out expense reports and truck reports.
13. Keep assigned company vehicle clean and update Service Staff on
    any problems with vehicles as soon as they are noticed.
14. Provide complete Inspection Reports for each piece of equipment
    serviced, with condition of equipment and any recommendations for
    repairs required.
15. Maintains the confidentiality of all information processed.

Performs related duties as assigned.  Regular and consistent
attendance is required.

Job Qualifications:
Required: High School Diploma or a General Educational Development
Diploma (GED).  Two years of technical training.  Solid verbal
communication skills needed to accurately describe problems and
communicate with customers.

Preferred: Associates degree in a related technical field or
equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge of
Microsoft Office Suite.
