Contemporary artist David Nott creates textile works that defy easy categorization. Often taking dozens of hours to craft and thousands of yards of yarn, the completed works push the boundaries of sculpture, graphic design, geometric abstraction, and craft tradition.
His most recognizable body of work is his “Color Riddle” series, meticulously composed tufted works that emphasize the relationship between shape, color, and above all, texture. Now, his work has been made even more widely available through a collaboration with LG Gallery+.

LG Gallery+, part of LG Electronics, is a visual curation service that offers users the ability to explore the platform’s library of over 5,000 curated images, accessible through its interface of LG Gallery+ Shelves, and display them on their home or office LG screens. Prior collaborations include with the National Gallery of Art, London, when masterworks from the museum’s permanent collection were made available on a bespoke Shelf. Nott’s new work made to mark the occasion, COLOR RIDDLE VI (2026), is accessible via the LG Gallery+ Artist Collaboration Shelf.

“Color Riddle VI continues my ongoing exploration of color as both structure and illusion,” Nott told LG Gallery+. “The piece plays with contrast and layering to create a sense of movement and visual tension which is almost like a puzzle the viewer slowly unpacks. The inspiration came from experimenting with how color interactions shift depending on scale and texture, and how those shifts translate when viewed digitally versus physically. It felt like a natural evolution of the series, especially in the context of a platform like LG Gallery+”.
Nott has previously collaborated with brands like Louis Vuitton at Art Basel and other creatives like Mr. Beast and Justin Bieber. And with a combined audience of just over 880,000 followers across his social media platforms—where he breaks down how he executes his signature tufted works—the partnership with LG Gallery+ marks yet another opportunity for audiences to engage more closely with his work. It also highlights the perfect fit of Nott’s digital presence with LG Gallery+.
“I get approached for lots of projects, and I only do these that are genuinely exciting to me,” said Nott. “The platform offers a new way for art to live in people’s homes—not as a static object, but as something immersive and adaptable to different spaces. I’ve really enjoyed seeing how my work translates on screen, and LG Gallery+ does a great job of preserving color accuracy, detail, and presence, which is essential for work rooted in texture and tone”.
