31007 DESCRIPTION:
Understand the basic requirements of fire alarm system working drawings. Demonstrate good drafting techniques. Prepare simple layouts by use of good standard practice with proper line widths and letters. Produce work that meets standards of the employer and is of good standard practice in the industry. Calculate quantity and type of automatic fire detectors required and prepare job material lists. (NFPA 72, NFPA 170, and drafting texts)
