31001 Basic Fire Alarm Systems
Work element #31011, "Basic Metric Units and Conversions," is mandatory for certification at Levels II, III and IV. All other Level I General Core Work Elements constitute a mandatory requirement for achieving certification at Levels III and IV.
31001 DESCRIPTION
Understand the various types of fire alarm systems. Understand the electrical requirements, the alarm initiating devices, the control functions, the alarm indicating appliances and the power requirements of a fire alarm system.
